A Quiet Place for Prayer and Study
You've probably walked or driven past a Christian Science Reading Room a hundred times, and maybe once or twice wondered, "what goes on in there?" All you have to do is walk in and find out. Usually you'll find a very quiet room filled with books, often a computer or two, and rarely more than a couple of people. It's an oasis of quiet for many—a place of energetic exploration for others. The room is stocked with Bible study materials, the many writings of the woman who discovered Christian Science, Mary Baker Eddy, and Christian Science literature. Most of these publications are also available for purchase and many Reading Rooms offer these books through their lending library.
